The San Francisco River cuts through the middle of town, usually peacefully, though a 1983 flood proved devastating to everything in the river's path.

I, suddenly, hungrily, want to be there. Guess what…get to go to San Diego to visit my son next month for the first time since he moved there. Hurray! (His girlfriend lives in Rancho Cucamongo(sp?) and she's coming down to hang out w us.)
